Terms of Service
Health and safety: habitGate: Level up system is not medical, psychological, therapeutic or addiction-treatment advice and does not replace a doctor or qualified professional. Exercise suggestions are general and may not suit everyone. Stop if you feel pain or unwell. If you are in crisis or at risk, contact local emergency services or a helpline.
Acceptance and eligibility
By using habitGate: Level up system you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13. habitGate: Level up system is a habit tracker that anyone can use. If you are a minor, parental consent is required before you make any purchase or use system-generated exercise content; no other feature requires parental consent.
Your account
Give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and use one account per person. You are responsible for activity on your account.
The service
habitGate: Level up system is a habit and self-improvement tool with game elements. Features may change, be added or be removed.
Virtual items and in-app currency
Virtual items and currency have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are licensed to you, not owned. We may adjust them for balance or to stop fraud. No refunds, except where required by law or Google Play policy.
Subscriptions and purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are billed and managed through Google Play. Full pricing and renewal terms are in the app's own disclosure (paywall → Subscription & Purchases): Premium comes as a monthly subscription ($2.99 / ₹99, auto-renews every month), a yearly subscription ($17.99 / ₹749, auto-renews every 12 months), and a one-time Lifetime "Founder" purchase ($44.99 / ₹1,999) that never renews; no free trials are offered. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel in Google Play → Profile → Payments and subscriptions. Refunds follow Google Play's policies; a refund granted by Google revokes premium access. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your Play subscription.
Your content
You keep ownership of your profile name and anything you write in quests, dungeon raids and bug reports. You give us a limited licence to store and display it to operate the app for you. Photo avatars never leave your device, so they are not hosted by us at all. Unlawful, abusive or infringing content is prohibited.
Acceptable use
Do not cheat, exploit bugs, automate use, reverse engineer the app, harass others or use it unlawfully. We may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse.
Intellectual property
The app, artwork, characters, names and logos belong to Monarch Labs or its licensors. Open-source licence information for the app is available under Settings -> About -> Open-Source Licenses, which opens the project's licence page.
Third-party services
The app relies on Google Play, Supabase and RevenueCat (subscription and entitlement processing), and, in builds configured for it, Sentry for crash reporting. No other third-party online service is called by the app — the rest of its dependencies are client-side libraries that run entirely on your device. Their terms apply to their services.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to us in the past twelve months or for damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Termination
You may stop at any time by deleting your account in the app. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms.
Changes to these terms
We will update the date and notify you in the app of material changes. Continued use means acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. DISCLAIMER: Consumer rights in the EU/UK override choice of law. In case of disputes, users in the EU can use the ODR platform, or local courts.
